Naya the Moth of the Rain
When the rain falls on Wurundjeri land and the soil becomes tender and soft a mysterious creature emerge from the underground. We have never seen her, only the traces she left on the ground. In 2019 a group of young people and parents Julie Webb, Raoul Mulder and Sarita Gálvez in consultation with the Wurundjeri Tribe Land Council created a book that narrates the life cycle of the rain moth that lives most of her life in snuggly burrows underground.
